A SEVERN BRIDGE TOO FAR...

Chepstow 29 Rhymney 27

Brave effort by the Brewers at Chepstow today, Sat Sept 1st: started looking like 50 point losers, battled back, won the second half and despite having 14 men for the last 10, ended up one missed kick away from a win! Lost 29-27 but gained two bonus points, with the four tries from sharp Jack Donegan, skipper Liam Davies and sub brother Rhys, Liam adding a penalty and two conversions. Frustrating but plenty to build on! The pics at this link include 60s star Rosser Jones, a boy with the Severn Bridge on his head, Chrissie Richards showing that a fag aids fitness, the most expensive knee in Dowlais, a very shaky one of Rhys Chopper, and Jack's bum....
